Through unique vocal interpretations that transform and recombine the essence of Western classical, Japanese folk, whispering and poetry readings, “itan no sambikasyu”―heretic hymnal―transports its listeners to a song-world of overwhelming solemnity and splendor so powerful in its ability to move as to border on terrifying. 10 tracks. A practicing depth psychotherapist, hatis noit’s composition method for this work was to commit diverse vocal elements including melody, whispering, sighs and tongue clicking to various electronic processes in order to produce a free, unrestricted sound that could capture breathtaking natural beauty and a sacred, animistic world reminiscent of her hometown on the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, Japan. 子供の頃に音の感覚が封鎖され、以来､音は通りすぎるものとしてあった。音はどこから来るのか…。どうしたら身体に入るのか、そんなことをずっと考えていた。
ハチスノイトがふっと訪れてきて音の感覚が少し変わった。音は、向こうから来るものなのだ。運命なのだと思うようになった。受け入れる。そこが音の始まり。
では声は…。声は身体のなか､受け入れる感情を発露して響きだす音の原点。ハチスノイトの声は、複層してさまざまな感覚や感情を虚空に描き出す。その描き出された位相が私の封鎖されていた音の感覚を少しずつ解いていく。受け入れる容器によって人は救われる。ハチスノイトの声が空間を大きな受容器にする。
だから私は覚醒に向かう。少しずつ。でもそれは大きな力。
