TOMCのPURRE GOOHNから1年ぶりのリリースとなる本作は今春に企業への委託作品として公開され、リリースが待望されていたハウストラック。ベーカリーで発生するあらゆるサウンドを一夜で録音・再構築を経て完成された本作は2017年のフルアルバム ”Yesternow Once Now” に通じる大胆なサンプリングコラージュ～グリッチの側面を保ちつつ、Ross From Friends を筆頭とする近年のローファイハウスムーブメントにも通じる、メランコリックかつ享楽的なダンスミュージックに仕上がっている。カップリングには Seiho との共演でも話題を呼んだ、国内ハウスシーンの次世代を担うユニット Pee.J Anderson によるフロアライクなリミックスを収録。

プロデューサー・ビートメイカー・DJ。
即興演奏者およびディスコDJとしてキャリアをスタートし、その後ビートメイカーとしてメキシコ PIRA.MD Records、ポルトガル MiMi Records など海外諸国からアルバム・EPをリリース。近年ではアルバム ‘Yesternow Once Now’ (2017) 、EP ‘Blockchainers’ (2019) 等を日本の電子音楽レーベル PURRE GOOHN より発表している。
古今東西の楽曲スタイルに都市の環境音や日常の生活音を交え、2010年代以降のビートミュージックの方法論に基づき完成される多層的・折衷主義的な作風で知られる。
エッジーな音楽性の一方で非常に柔軟な活動方針を標榜しており、企業委嘱による作品制作やオフィスビル～ハッカソン等での長時間DJプレイのほか、レコードコンビニをはじめとする東東京の新興クリエイティブシーンとの多種多様な交流でも知られる。

TOMC embarked on his music career first as an improv artist and disco DJ, before going on to release albums and EPs as a beatmaker on PIRA.MD Records (Mexico) and MiMi Records (Portugal) and several overseas countries. In recent years he have released LP ‘Yesternow Once Now’ (2017), and EP ‘Bake The House’ (2018) from PURRE GOOHN.
He is renowned for his eclectic, genre-defying plunderphonics / sampledelia music, blending post-2010s beat methodology with all ages music styles around the world and environmental sounds of urban city life.
He continues to expand his range in roles, such as a commissioned creator from enterprises, a marathon DJ at public spaces (e.g., office buildings, hackathons and so on), and he’s known as a key person of the emerging creative scene of East Tokyo including ‘record conveni’.
